Process Engineer; Machining Engineer
Xcentri’s Engineering and Manufacturing Division is actively looking for a Process Engineer in the Greater Charlotte area. The company is a well-funded, small, technical-oriented manufacturing supplier for the automotive and transportation industry. This role will be focused on process and manufacturing support of metal machining operations. This role will be instrumental in evaluating, problem solving and resolving engineering problems on the floor [machinery, equipment, materials, etc]. This role will review engineering specifications, design testing methods for conformance and report issues to production with support and solutions. The Process Engineer will also define tooling designs, develop process SOW and quality standards for all new and existing products.
- To be considered for this role, you must have an Associates Engineering Degree and 5+ years of hands-on experience OR a Bachelor’s of Engineering Degree and 1+ years of experience.
- Experience in technical problem solving of metal machining, equipment and on the floor operations is required.
- Experience with full Microsoft Office Suite + CAD design software is required.
