JOB TITLE:    Junior Purchasing Agent


Overview: Are you experienced in preparing and placing orders for materials, products, or supplies? Committed to applying knowledge of vendor services, consider suitability of materials offered, reviewing delivery, and following up on orders. The Role:

  • Update PO book, Excel spreadsheet, Powerflex for received items
  • Strict adherence to Company policies, code of ethics and rules of conduct, and confidentiality agreement
  • Facilitate POs and RGAs when needed
  • Send new parts pulls to cage for pulling and audit parts pulls for preciseness and completion
  • Measure pricing for gas & cylinder receipts. Keep records of total nitrogen delivery to confirm correct billing
  • Match packing slips with invoices checking pricing and quantities and provide QC form attached based on QC Checklist. Authenticate MAS part numbers that are listed on packing slips & invoices, notify vendor of any that are not. Submit to accounting for payment
  • Confirm completed parts pulls received
  • File paperwork, answer e-mails and questions as needed
  • Back up all Purchasing duties as desired, along with preparing requests for quotes, orders, expediting, ordering supplies, and requesting RGAs for deficiency
  • Help with organization of inventory, and assist in quarterly inventory such as counting, auditing, etc
  • Field new and current vendor inquiries and meet as needed with supervisor approval
  • Prepare new orders as desired
  • Nearest attention to detail, organizational skills, regular work attendance and hours are required for this position
  • Duties are not limited to those listed in this job description and can be updated or modified at any point


  • 1-year experience in buying, purchasing, or procurement role or qualified educational background
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices
  • A strong analytical mindset
  • Great organizational skills
