As part of its ongoing philanthropic venture “The CEO Inc. Giving Fund,” CEO Inc. is proud to announce Charlotte’s Changed Choices as our August 2012 charity of the month. Each month, a portion of the company proceeds go to benefit area charities and non-profit organizations. These are nominated and selected collectively by the CEO Inc. staff as a way to give back to the community that gives us so much.
Changed Choices is a non-profit organization that provides a range of support services to female inmates in local, state and federal systems. Inmates who continue a relationship with the organization throughout their incarceration, and who demonstrate a high capacity for complete rehabilitation, are offered additional support upon release as they face the extraordinary challenges of transition back into society. Started in 1999 by Rev. Daren McGrew and Ruth Snyder, the program continues to serve a very volatile and deserving group of women so that destructive cycles are broken and lives and futures are enriched and changed.
